Animal Description Header

Halo is a very sweet and goofy young Sheltie.  To say she is high energy is putting it mildly.  She is always on the go!  She loves to play with toys, other dogs and people.  Halo is an excessive barker - she will let you know if anything moves outside...anywhere...every time!  She is still learning to walk politely on leash.  She will attempt to chase any vehicle with a deep engine sound (busses, ups trucks, semi trucks, etc.). She requires a Sheltie knowledgeable home and a fenced in backyard for those reasons.  She is also an escape artist!  If left on her own outside, she *will* find a way to escape!  With all that said - Halo is a very good puppy!  She is an excellent snuggler at night!  She is crate trained.  She will put up a bit of a fuss going in her crate but she will settle after a few mintues. Halo is house trained.  Halo is very food motivated and wants to please which makes training fairly easy.  
Halo’s perfect family would be an active family or someone that participates in agility or flyball!  She would do best in a home with older children.  She seems to do well with the cats we have had her around.
